Word Up! Perhaps I should start by explaining the title of my NEW BLOG!! Ryan has renamed me "Word Girl", super-hero of words. (Kind of fitting for the title of a blog don't you think?) Word Girl is a cartoon viewed in the weee hours of the morning at our house on TV public broadcast. Word Girl has a little monkey named Captain Huggy and Ryan has renamed himself Captain Huggy. I have been Word Girl now for about a month (although my vocabulary has not improved at all and my spelling is still unbelievably horrible). Ryan only calls me Mom when he wants something, otherwise it is "Word Girl". Assuming you guys don't want anything from me, then I will be Word Girl to you too.
Okay, so what/who inspired me to block? Jane Anne Owen. I have been reading her blog for some time now and it is so wonderful. I am going to give it a shot. With a crazy husband and 2 energic kids, I think I can find much to write about. Look for future posts and if you don't see any, email me to ridicule me.
