We had special guests for dinner Friday night. My mother and a dear friend Shirley. It was a gorgeous evening and we had a wonderful time visiting in the yard. Thanks to my neighbor for firing up my crockpot mid-day on Friday, we had a nice meal too. It sounds fancy and tastes fancy, but is easy to make (with the help of a neighbor). Mom and Shirley both requested the recipe, so here it is. I believe I found it on the web somewhere. Good luck.
Pork Tenderloin w/ Au jus
2 lb. pork tenderloin
1 envelop dry onion soup mix
1 cup water
3/4 cup red wine
3 Tablespoons minced garlic
3 Tablespoons soy sauce
ground pepper
Place meat in a slow cooker with soup packet. Pour water, wine, and soy sauce over top, turning pork to coat. Carefully spread garlic over pork, leaving as much on pork as possible. Sprinkle with pepper, cover, and cook on low for 4 hours. Serve with cooking liquid on side as an au jus.

Sounds DELISH! I will definitely try this. I'm really enjoying catching up on your blog, I haven't had a chance to read in the last couple of weeks. Sounds like you've had a great April!
